Participate & Contribute

How you can benefit

Learning from others in the facilities and corporate real estate industry is the best way to solve your own issues, reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve results. You can leverage your colleagues in many ways, including networking, involvement with an association and more. An easy way of doing it is with information that other Facility Management professionals have contributed to on FM insight.

Even if you think you are doing everything right, you may be surprised to find out what others are doing or you may learn something that helps you drive your agenda within your organization with information that will influence others or drive decisions.

Here are a few ways you can benefit from the information you and your colleagues from around the world contribute to FM insight surveys and polls:

Influence

Decisions

The best way to get good information is to participate. While we release some select information about our surveys on our website, newsletter and other sources, you have to participate in the survey to get the more detailed information.

Compare and learn globally

Since participants come from all around the world, we split results by country or continent when there is a large enough sample size from the countries. When you participate in a survey, you can see how results are different within the FM industry across the globe.

Polls

All polls are public and available on the Polls page. The open polls will be listed first, followed with older polls that are no longer open to participation.

Public Surveys

If you are in the facility, corporate real estate or property management industry, you can contribute to our public surveys. When you contribute, as a thank-you for contributing, you get better information about the results than will be available to non-participants. Be sure to visit the surveys page to contribute to the public surveys that are still open for participation. Some surveys are either time or participation limited, so learning about them as soon as they are available is important if you want to participate and get the more detailed results.

Private Research

We do private research for other facilities and suppliers to the facilities industry or for our own purposes. These surveys may or may not be open for public participation. If they are public, we treat them like the public surveys described above. When they are private, they are always on an invitation-only basis. If you are on our mailing list, you will hear about private research when we are looking for participants who fit a specific profile and you can apply to participate and receive the results as a benefit.

How can you contribute.

The best way to contribute is to participate in the polls and public surveys that are already on our site. Feel free to suggest a poll or survey and sign-up to our mailing list so you can stay informed about new polls and surveys.

Get Notified
To be notified of future polls and surveys, including private facilities related research you may want to participate in, you should add your name to our mailing list. Not only will you get great information on a variety of FM topics, we’ll keep you up-to-date on new polls and surveys.

Confidentality
Many of the surveys ask for details about you or your organization. The information is needed to do effective analysis and segmentation of the results.
Your confidentiality is important to us and only compiled results will be released.
