Facilities Leadership : Strategy & the 1-page Strategic Plan

When: No date set yet. Sign up to be notified.

Strategic plans don’t have to be long, tedious documents that end up collecting dust on a shelf. Strategy is actually your best weapon to getting things done and advancing your department. You can develop a strategic plan for your entire scope of responsibility or for a very specific initiative.

The 1-page, 3-step strategic plan moves Strategic Planning from a large scale process to a simple, practical tool you can use to improve your ability to get results.

Recorded Webinars

Most of our Facility Management Webinars will be recorded and available to watch after the live session, since our live sessions will have limited seats available. Some will be free to view as recorded webinars but many will be available only for a fee.

Free Recorded Webinars

Frome time to time, we make Webinar recordings available for free, listed below.

Facilities Leadership : Quality Assurance for FM’s

Originally held February 12, 2013. Duration 30 Min.

Quality Assurnace is a key way you ensure you and your suppliers are providing your organization with quality, consistent service. If you already do inspections and use checklists, you are only doing Quality Control, which is only half of the job. Quality Assurance is a system that proactively ensures quality, not just measures it after the fact.

It doesn’t have to be difficult or involved. Learn the principles and get some tools you can use whether you are a large organization or a 1 person FM department.

Facilities Leadership : Satisfaction Surveys

Originally held live April 25, 2012. Duration: 30 Minutes.

Do you know what your occupants think about their work environment? If you don’t ask, you won’t know what you need to improve or change.

Facility Managers are often fearful of what these surveys may reveal, but instead of shying away from the answers, you can use results to your benefit – to make decisions, build a business case and get more resources, systems, tools, etc.

With web enabled survey tools, they are easier to do and easier to report and analyze than ever before. All it takes is the right kind of questions and just a little time to get more information you can use to make decisions and improve service.

This webinar will show you what you need to know. Michel will cover techniques to develop your survey questions, how to administer them, why and how to conduct transaction and decision maker surveys, example questions, how to analyze results, and how to how to use information for decision making and business cases.

Facilities Leadership : Lifecycle Costing The Easy Way

Originally held live March 28, 2012. Duration: 30 Minutes.

Lifecycle costing analysis is a decision making tool Facility Managers should use, but seldom do. It’s actually a lot easier to do than many think. Forget about the long, tedious, technical and financial explanations and examples you’ve seen in textbooks.

This webinar will show you what you need to know. Michel will cover how to use it for decision making, how to get the initial, periodic and final costs you need and how to use a simple Excel formula to do the analysis. We know you don’t have much time, so we’re keeping it to 30 minutes long yet you will get what you need to do your own Lifecycle Costing analysis easily and efficiently to provide you with information you can use to make decisions and build a business case.

This is ideal for new FM’s or FM’s who have avoided using Lifecycle Costing because it’s often portrayed as a complex, difficult process.
